Exactly one year ago, as some of the most challenging times in living memory began, Caledonia Senior Living and a small group of other not-for-profit senior living communities came together in an informal alliance of mutual assistance and support.
It started with an open letter to the Governor of Illinois, stating plainly our support for his team’s efforts to deliver what our communities desperately needed during the opening days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, Gus Noble has met with the CEO’s of the other communities multiple times each week to share supplies, services, solutions, staffing and more.
Now, as the world begins to emerge from this crisis, these communities have written another open letter, but this time to the people of Illinois. This letter appeared in the Sunday, March 14th edition of the Chicago Tribune and it is available here for you to read.
