At Caledonia Senior Living & Memory Care, we provide holistic, person-centered memory care. Our “smaller by design” approach is woven into our physical environment, design, programming, daily activities and meals. Memory Care at Caledonia is delivered in the MacLean House and is comprised of two “Homes”. Each home consists of no more than 10 residents, and each resident has their own private suite complete with a full bathroom.
This “smaller by design” approach to memory care allows us to tailor our care to each individual’s schedule and interests, including meals and activities.
The MacLean House provides a calm, nurturing environment where you are supported and assisted by a staff of Care Partners who receive specialized training to learn our core values and culture as well as the latest best-practice strategies in caring for, communicating with and supporting people living with memory loss.
In addition, our MacLean House staff is currently being trained by renowned chef Gary Maclean, National Chef of Scotland. Gary is teaching our staff menu planning, meal preparation, cooking and recipe techniques. Not only is our staff learning new skills to create a better experience for our residents, but they can also apply these skills as they cook at home.
The MacLean House is usually full but we do have a few openings currently, for a limited time. We invite you and your family members to schedule a tour of the MacLean House at Caledonia Senior Living & Memory Care.
