Chicago Scots invite you to a musical celebration of Robert Burns featuring Rachel Barton Pine in performance with Alistair McCulloch on the “Gregg Violin” on its first U.S. tour from Robert Burns Birthplace Museum in Ayrshire, Scotland with poetry and toasts by Gus Noble, president, Chicago Scots. Plus, the award-winning musical theatre group Noisemaker will also be performing at the event!
The evening will include Whisky Toasts, Scottish-Inspired Heavy Hors D’Oeuvres, Poetry, Music and Fun!
Learn about Robert Burns the ‘ploughman poet’ who achieved world-wide fame for such noted works as Auld Lang Syne and Tam O’Shanter. Opening remarks from Gus Noble, President, Chicago Scots and David Hopes, Head of Collections and Interiors at the National Trust for Scotland, formerly the Director of the Trust’s Robert Burns Birthplace Museum.
Tickets are $60 for adults, $25 for young professionals ages 19-30, and $10 for students ages 6-17.
